Juneteenth 157 Freedom 2022 Conferences

Welcome to the “Freedom” page of
Black Meta Fest Juneteenth 157 and
Afro-Futurism Conferences for our 8th grade students that are
paricipating Digital Artists.
This page will be updated with information for potential sponsors
for out 8th grade artists, updates concerning turning in artwork
to be posted to our Spatial Gallery for those intereted in participating
and answering questions.

These conferences respectively will be held Friday, Saturday, Sunday,
June 17th, 18th, 19th 2022 and hopes to embrace how technology is
useful in building  the youth and teens into digital leaders.

These historical events will be held on Metaverse platforms and with
Afro-Futurism held in person also at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville,

historic events that are the first of their kinds held in person & on the
Metaverse.

The Metaverse is HERE and there are two awesome events
having the first ever Black Meta Fest Juneteenth 157 and
Afro-Futurism Conferences in the Metaverse.
Let’s celebrate and educate !!!
We are Professors William and Aida Jackson, the youth
directors and organizers for the upcoming Black Meta Fest
Juneteenth 157 Celebration Conference and Afro-Futurism
Conferece that will be held the weekend of Friday to Sunday,
June, 17th, 18th and 19th 2022.
We are proud to be the first and only Metaverse conferences
to have two events on this historic weekend and with a focus
on youth, teens and young adults. We invite you and your
employees, staff, associates not only to attend, but please
consider as a company or organization sponsoring our 8th
grade students that are the focus on our portion of Digital Arts.

The purpose for this email is to reachout for enthusiastic and
forward thinking sponsors for our youth NFT event where 8th
grade students nationally/globally will submit their digital works to
be posted in a Metaverse Gallery on the Spatial platform for
the world to see and admire. 8th grade artist are requested to
voluneteer their digital art works based on the theme of
“FREEDOM” to represent the “FREEDOM” gained from slavery.

Youth, teens and young adults are at times disconnected from past
historical events associated with slavery and sometimes taught
a false narrative about how slaves were treated, the atrocities
of slavery, and how it still affects Black and Brown people of
African, Hispanic, Haitian, Jamaican, Puerto Rican, African,
Central and South American heritage. Many people do not know
that slavery was ongoing in the

This event is to show not the uglyness nor violence, but
how our cultures collectivley have overcome and are excelling
in areas of STEM, STEAM, STREAM and Digital Learning. That the
Metaverse, Altspace VR, Infiniverse and other spaces can help
to educate and empower.

Myself, William Jackson, and wife, Aida Correa-Jackson are both
professors and educators in public and higher education. Florida
State College of Jacksonville and Lenoir-Rhyne University respectfully.
We invite you to sponsor our event to inspire, educate, encourage,
and promote these two first of a kind events on the Metaverse making
history and opening doors for youth, teens in the 8th grade where
learning at this level is vital for future successes and achievements.

We ask not for monies, but providing gift cards to share with our artists
to thank them for their works, dedication, creativity, innovation and
passion for what they are doing. Your choice of food gift cards, services
or resources that youth of ages 10, 11, 12, 13 would enjoy. Again, we are
not asking for money… We are willing to post your business name and
logos on our web sites to show our appreciation and your contributions.

If you would like to remain unknown as a sponsor we will respect
your request.
Since these are digital times we request that your submissions be
made digitally to us and they will be shared with the 8th grade
reciepiants and you will be CC’d in the communications to show our
respect for your gift, time participating and your business dedication
to inspiring youth and the knowledge of how business and artists are appreciated and can collaborate.
