Inviting Africans Across the Continent and Diaspora to Celebrate Africa Day 2022 Prof. William Jackson and Amb. Edoseghe Prince Erhahon https://OneAfricaForum.org
ONE AFRICA FORUM is Inviting Africans Across the Continent and Diaspora to unify to celebrate Africa Day 2022 with a writing contest. Writing is still one of the most influential forms of communication and connection humans share globally. Even during these digital times emails have quickly passed billions sent and received each day.
The electronic mail (or simply email) was invented by Ray Tomlinson in the 1960s, and as technology has grown so has the ability to send and receive email. It is estimated that over 300.5 billion emails are sent and received each day. The access to email is free with Gmail having 1.8 billion accounts globally. Interesting enough with mobile communication being easily accessible 53%
of all emails are mobile using smartphones.
Voice is the first, writing comes in many forms and fashions. Early writing was hand drawn artwork that told a story, sharing dreams, events and historical happenings.
Early writings can be seen in caves globally as man started to tell his/her story of family, friends, discoveries, creativity, and innovation. Email for personal use and digital marketing to reach the African customer has been gaining in popularity as more and more businesses look to expand in the African markets that are applying more technologies.
The building of African digital infrastructures, satellite access and growing
and stable Wifi is happening quickly. Many Africans do not know there is already an African continent digital fiber line that provides high speed access
around Africa that is available. YouTube video of African interent access https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSQHDxEU8qY
One Africa Forum brings to the continent a “Continental Essay Writing
Competition” Application for entries into the “Continental Essay Writing
Competition” is currently open for young Africans under the age of 35.

Support the Arts in Schools & Communities The Metaverse is Coming
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and music appreciation
is in the ear of the listener. The Arts play a key role in developing
talents, abilities, skills and providing a canvas for youth, teens, and
young adults to display their talents that enhance the world.
That canvas can lead to a vision for future careers if students are
supported to see beyond stereotypes, cultural misrepresentations,
and perceived impostor syndromes.
Aida Correa-Jackson, Artist, Florist and Arts Educator provided
a “Career Vision Board” workshop at Charger Charter School with
6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
The workshop arranged by Lakisha Josey GEAR UP Program
Manager, is used to mentor, inspire, and encourage students in
selected middle schools over the next 7 years to support students
to graduate from high school.
Using the Arts as a tool and platform to see a “vision” of successful
careers later in life, the students designed a vision of growth and
success. As Mrs. Jackson states, “seeing their future careers is
powerful and can be life changing.
It is important that youth see themselves doing their careers so
they can prepare now for the future.”
Mrs. Jackson is a recognized and respected educator and artist
in Jacksonville, has had her works displayed in the Ritz Theater,
Readers Theater Plays as an actor and speaker at community
conferences and summits. She is an advocate for youth and teens
learning about Web 3.0 and the Metaverse as artists to be
digital business owners and entrepreneurs later in life. The vision
board can lead to youth, teens, and young adults to see their
greatness, their creativity and embrace their innovation in the
new digital world of NFTs and Metaverse technologies.
Cultures globally are based on foundations of music, arts, dance,
visual and auditory expressions. These dynamic patois (languages)
are not just words, although spoken word and poetry are included
in the Arts, the rich dialects of musical didactics. Sharing the visions
of life and living, students were trained on seeing with the Arts how
their world is changing.
If a society does not support the Arts it may lose its SOUL, that
passion that lays within and the embracing of unity and community.
People cannot grow nor express their feelings without the Arts.
Several students during the event stated, “this is so cool, I get to
be creative and expressive.”
The goal is to open their eyes, open their minds and open
their ears to embrace their future potentials.
The change is here, it is not coming, it is not like a theif in the night, it is not sneaking up on us getting ready to pounce upon unsuspecting travelers
on a dark road to Damascus.
The Metaverse is here, a clear and present resource of digital avatars, virtual
spaces and digital connections. The rapid progress of digital can be given
due successes because of the pandenic and its global influences. The digital
revolutions has propogated in our world spaces, places, worlds, communities,
that have not only embraced technology, but allow tech to take hold and digitally run globally making unimaginable connections and collaborations.
Professor Aida Correa-Jackson provided a glimse of what is to potentially to
come when she spoke at the WordPress Meetup viturally in Philly (Philadelphia), sharing how all digital content will be changed forever.
“Learning In The Metaverse, Using VR Spaces as Facilitation Tools”
The tools that are available were just building to this point for several
years. As with many technological innovations it takes a mission, purpose,
collaborations and a strong reason for it to begin.
Technology represents the creativeness in us all, the innovation to design,
build, create, modify, and link the past, present and future. Just as was
the case with audio on web sites. Companies like Create My Voice https://createmyvoice.com
Technology waits for no one and if people do not take the initiative to
learn, apply, adapt, cope, attempt to grow with the changes there well
be educational, financial and social reactions.
The Metaverse is here, We b 3.0 is here, Inviniferse, Altspace VR
and other digital spaces and places are abundant and growing.
Humans must adapt, adjust and adhere to the new ways.
The changes, evolution and even revolution are
influencing changes in how people will communicate,
learn, conduct business, manage finances, engage in
commerce, apply digital currencies and purchasing of
real and digital land.
The digital evolution is happening now and is being
broadcast across the internet on the metaverse.
People will have access to their “40 acres and a mule”
although digitally, but will be able to gain what was
promised and taken away. There is digital Black Wall
Street’s growing on the metaverse and business is
Technology is moving past Web 2.0 applications of
the Internet, we have grown comfortable with what has
been used since the 1990’s. There are new levels and
experiences of Web 3.0 where businesses are growing
and digital land is being purchased and even rented.
Educators, artists, entrepreneurs, creators and digital
innovators are provided opportunities to influence life
currently and in the future. The Metaverse, NFTs,
Blockchain, Web 3.0 are all influences digitally that
will change human exchanges and life in the near and
distant future. Artists, educators, and business owners
are increasingly being interviewed to share their views,
ideas, experiences and expertise on new levels of
technological growth. Technology is growing!
Teaching youth, teens and young adults that tech is
changing their futures, the integration of new levels
of engagement, collaboration, business models
and digital currencies that will change from a physical
currency to a digital currency. People must change
their mindsets to embrace new directions of living and
collaborating with technology.
Speaking on Clubhouse, the audio app that embraces
the world and provides instant access to knowledge
from around the world. This is a new world that people
must manage and not allow technology to manage them.
The Black ‘Verse invited William and Aida Jackson,
The xSTREAM Team to speak about STEM, STEAM,
STREAM, the Metaverse and Web 3.0.
The interview can be heard here with NiKole (Technikole)
Maxwell, Founder and Chief Metaverse Officer (CEO) for
Black Multiverse Enterprises (BME)
Technology is crossing generational, gender,
socio-economic lines and building digital leaders.
Today’s children will be competing with robots,
artificial thinking, they will be in
virtual reality and augmented worlds.
