The Metaverse has been the big topic of many
conversations in tech and beyond in the past
few years. This has not escaped South America
and Colombia. AI is a growing influence in Colombian
communities. Although many people still don’t
know what the metaverse is across South America
or how it works. Oxford dictionary defines the
metaverse as “a virtual-reality space in which users can
interact within computer-generated environments.”
Chancellor Jackson has created a metaverse site
in celebration of Latin America and included works
from CE Cancillerias Estudanties of Colombia.
Collaborating with the Founder Castrillion
Chancellor Jackson has been building on the
metaverse since 2022 and blends these with
conferences with the Cancillerias Estudanties.

The conference encourages learning, exploration
and discovery learning and engaging experiences that
assist youth, teens and young adults. There are many
metaverse experiences available, most of which fall
into the video game category. Games like Minecraft
and Roblox are defined as metaverse experiences, and
allow interactivity on multiple levels. Latin American
youth and teens are growing in power, and their skills
provide a way to compete against other nations globally.
The engagements are run and managed more and
more by AI or Artificial Intelligence. Chancellor Jackson
and his wife have been teaching in Costa Rica to
secondary and university students.

There are growing Latin schools integrating AI and
Metaverse to meet the needs of a growing digital
community across the Latin tech ecosystems.
There are new environments like Meta’s Horizon Worlds
are starting to launch, which are metaverse experiences
intended for users with a Virtual Reality (VR) headset.
Spatial (used by Chancellor Jackson) can be used either
in a VR headset, Smartphone, Tablet, Desktop and Laptop
technologies. The metaverse has exploded in reality and
the metaverse is just a way to describe any virtual
experience in which you create an avatar and are able
to interact with others. Interactions are in text and voice,
immersivity and encourage connections, collaborations
and creating imaginations that cross continents and borders.
Chancellor Jackson shares his metaverse experiences
across Latin America in 2025 with Spatial.io in South

Spatial is very accessible, it is intended for users with a VR
headset, but can also be accessed through desktop browser
or on a mobile device. Spatial’s accessibility helps it to address
accessibility and the disabled and handicapped across Latin
America, especially those with mobility challenges.
Chancellor Jackson addresses the use of Spatial in the
Latin worlds he creates to help globally those that are
not able to attend in-person conferences, but have the
flexibility to create their own avatars and engage
with others.

The Future Metaverse in Latin America will influence education,
commerce, business and international trade. Advancements in
technology look to change how Latins do business, how they
learn, and day to day life in the next few years. VR technology
and the metaverse will both be a part of those changes, with
some companies looking to combine the two to create an
enhanced experience. Some of these experiences are geared
to Latin experiences specifically, to share the history, heritage
and cultures of South America.
Many Latin nations have some limitations that need to be
worked out, it is the biggest leap for building the digital
infrastructure necessary.
Making the metaverse an effective experience for creators
looking to build their own spaces that authentically represent
the Latin community and their great diversity, environments,
history and regional influences.

benefit across the Latin American region.
