The event presented by the Jacksonville
Public Education Fund (JPEF) brought
together educators, innovators, business
leaders and corporate leaders across
Jacksonville. Invited were national and
international educational leaders across
the spectrums of curriculum and PD.
To discuss technological and educational
shifts shaping schools and the diverse
learners in this digital age of ecosystems
of AI.

Central to this year’s discussion was the
transformative role of artificial intelligence
(AI) and a shared vision: “every student is
inspired and prepared for success in college
or a career and life”. Technology is changing
how our students are learning, and schools
must adapt and adopt professional
development for teachers and eventually
for students.

“Students must see they are important in the
educational process and be provided PD to raise
their awareness and proficiency across the
district (Duval County Public Schools),”
stated by CEO & Teacher William Jackson.
In attendance the Keynote speaker Isabelle Hau, Ph.D
sharing content from her book “Love to Learn,”
and her research experiences from Stanford
University.

How education is being shaped by AI and the
dynamic implications across education. She
blends cutting-edge technologies like AI with
the power of human connection to build inclusive,
effective systems.
The workshops provided teachers, not for profit
leaders, administrators, higher education leaders
and public education leaders chances to speak
about their concerns and strategies to use AI
in the classrooms of schools across Duval County
https://duvalschools.org/ .

Educators, CEO’s and community activists like
Arlene Cameron-Llyod (Gifted and Talented),
Aida Jackson (CEO, Certified AI Professional),
William Jackson (STEAM Educator, AI Certified
Educator, Blogger). AI has emerged as a
transformative tool for educational scaling,
with seasoned educators like William and Aida
Jackson and moderator to the workshop Alex
Kotran, Co-Founder & CEO of aiEDU sharing
how AI capabilities are personalizing learning.
Through data-driven insights, AI platforms now
tailor lessons, provide learning objectives,
can seamlessly apply standards and principles,
making learning individualized and offer real
time feedback. Connecting students with resources
suiting their strengths, addressing their
weaknesses and inspiring their interests.

Such technologies have the power not just to
teach facts, but to nurture exploration,
discovery, imagination and helping students
grow in their ownership and building success.
Using podcasts as the Jackson’s are doing,
teaching parents and students about AI and
the benefits and challenges from hallucinations,
deviations of facts and potential to lead youth
and teens to do physical harm and even leading
to suicide and low-self esteem.

The agreed ideas are future-ready education
means blending technology with human connection.
AI has the potential to help close achievement
gaps working towards learning to be more accessible,
adaptive, and equitable. The workshop session
highlighted tools that support diverse learners,
differences in gender, cultural backgrounds,
enhance teacher efficiency, PD for students and
fostering collaboration in new ways.
AI consultants, teachers and parents/grandparents
Aida and William are providing workshop to
schools and teachers to upscale their knowledge
and skills to use AI more efficiently.
They have provided workshops at UNF for
DCPS students, workshops for teachers at
Frank H Peterson Academies of Technology and
even international trainings in Africa with TESI in
Uganda, Zetech University in Kenya, the WordPress
Community in Central &
South America and SDN Foundation in India
These advances aim to ensure students are
not just college or career ready but inspired,
motivated, and able to meet the unforeseen
challenges of tomorrow.
