Jackson, with over 33 years as an educator in public
and higher education, leadership roles in the
World Metaverse Council, CEO of My Quest To
Teach & MetaverseWP, TESI, and Learning and
Development Nairobi, Kenya. He states that if
people see me as an African American man and my
wife who is Afro-Latina, the hope is they are
inspired to participate not just here in the States, but
internationally.
Jackson is uniquely positioned to drive innovation
in business ownership for entrepreneurs, higher
education, and secondary education globally.
His wife Aida, they have been providing AI workshops,
Metaverse trainings in Jacksonville to empower students
to the effective use and application of the tools of
ChatGPT, Perplexity, PI.ai and NotebookLM and Spatial.io.
Jackson and his wife are Certified VR and AI educators
through VictoryXR, EngageVR, and Pearson Learning
Language. They are integrating advanced digital tools
into instructional design, ensuring that students
internationally are prepared for future technology careers.
Their work emphasizes the importance of
maintaining the human element in teaching,
using AI as a supplement rather than a replacement
for educators across Jacksonville and the global
educational community. Advocating for educators
to leverage AI to reduce administrative burdens
and enhance lesson planning, hands-on project
based learning and freeing teachers to focus on
critical thinking, creativity and innovation, and
relationship building with students and the community.
Through his writings on the blog My Quest To Teach

educational gaps by inspiring and mentoring. His
philosophy aligns with the American Federation
of Teachers, whose President Randi Weingarten
states: “AI can be a really important supplement
and complement to educators if the guardrails are

bureaucratic burdens, and it can help with the
writing of lesson plans”.
Jackson is a member of the African American History
Task Force with Duval County Public Schools,
Jacksonville, Florida. He volunteers in schools and
throughout the community promoting the use of
AI, VR to teach African American History.
Jackson and his wife Aida have taught in Europe, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, remotely across Africa, India, Pakistan since 2020, they continue to support tech conferences that educate and empower the future of continents.
They are contributors of the WordPress Community and have taught with
the Kids, Youth, Teen and Young Adult Sessions since 2019.
