The future of Web3 and Gaming is creating phenomenal contributions
and great potential to the growth of Africa’s economic, business,
entrepreneurial and educational infrastructures.
Africa’s youth and teens are the foundation for the growth of Africa in
digital spaces and ecosystems. The investments should be African
foundations and African benefits. The growth of Africa should not be
in the hands of foreign governments that still look at Africa as a place
to reap the natural resources to be taken back to foreign lands.
The technological growth across Africa is a gateway to new careers,
business opportunities, individual entrepreneurialism and unifying
collaborations. The panel discussion lead by WEB3 Project Manager
Ailemen Precious with contributions from William Jackson, MAT &
CEO of MetaverseWP and My Quest to Teach, Co-Founder Jopiter,
Inc Abubakar Sanusi, Co-Host Esther Lavender.

The 90 minute dialogue shared the importance of understanding the
connection of Blockchain technologies, the use of NFT tech to place
value on financial recordings to blend tech and financial records that
provide financial stability and flexibility with the use of developing
Blockchain technologies.
Africa is becoming a leader in the implementation of Blockchain and
Gaming, with the blending of these two dynamic elements Africans
continue to grow across platforms, ecosystems and environments.
The growing Gaming industries across Africa that are applying
immersive and blended engagements that share realistic environments.
To understand the gaming industry in Africa, the African video game
industry is projected to reach $1 billion in revenue in 2024, up from
the record breaking $862 million in 2022.
The goal is to move from consuming Gaming to growing
Africans as Gaming developers, graphic designers, Gaming
music development, environment creation and other areas that
make Gaming successful. Global trends flux because of the history
of gaming that was established years in the making, a new element
for Africa. African Gaming industry set to reach $1 billion in 2024,
should provide new life to Gaming companies that have seen declines
globally. African youth and teens are hungry for gaming, the excitement
and thrill of competition across Africa is demanding networks to be
reinforced and digital infrastructures to be enhanced
and expanded.

African communities must collaborate to tap into the millions
of dollars that are available as creators, developers, programmers
and coders. This will allow for economic growth and influence in
multiple technological ecosystems that have developed to
empower African across the continent.
