William is the World Metaverse Council, Metaverse Education

collaborations in the key areas of business and blending of
diverse and immersive technologies.
He is on the Board of Directors with One Africa Forum located in
Johannesburg South Africa One Africa Forum | Facebook and
participates in global initiatives addressing immersive technologies
to build the skill sets of African youth, teens and young adults.
William is also a member of the ED3 DAO and contributes in
global engagements, projects and teaching experiences for
students and educators.
A career of 33 years teaching in public and higher education,
dedicated to empowering students from elementary to higher
education through Educational Technology hands-on
project-based learning, STEAM+M Initiatives, and critical thinking.
Employed with Edward Waters College 2004 – 2017, Florida State
College of JacksonvilleĀ 2020 – 2021 and multiple summer programs
for inner city youth and teens teaching elements of STEAM+M, Space,
VR, MetaverseĀ and IOT Internet of Things.
Appling the SDG’s of the United Nations to mentor and encourage
youth, teens and young adults to be engaged and active. William
has become a notable figure in both the academic and digital realms.

He has been a member of the WordPress community since 2010
where 45% of web development is made with WordPress
Open-Source software.
William is engaged as a global advocate for the WordPress community
and building collaborations of the WP / WC Communities. He began
speaking, teaching, organizing, mentoring, supporting, volunteering and sponsoring globally from 2017 to the present and continues to show
through “doing” how people of diverse backgrounds can benefit from
the engagement and activities in the WordPress / WordCamp Community

William has been sponsoring youth and teen to attend global
conferences that promote digital education, building of skills,
and abilities. Helping youth and teens to see themselves as
business owners, entrepreneurs and future
leaders in ecosystems of digital environments.
Since 2017 the success at Workcamp’s globally can be seen
from San Jose Costa Rica, Europe in Athens, Greece and
Torino, Italy, WordCamp Taiwan in Eastern Asia. Pakistan
with WordCamp Islamabad, Lahore and with Workcamp’s
across Central and South America.
MetaverseWP is growing in influence, inspiration
and encouragement.

William is the first creator building WordCamp conferences on
metaverse sites to address accessibility, advanced education
for Latin youth and teens the importance of indigenous
cultures to integrate the metaverse to preserve historical
information and content. The web site MetaverseWP is the first of
its kind in showcasing Workcamp’s globally and encouraging Avatars
that represent culture and heritage. Through thought-provoking
articles and engaging content, William contributes to the ongoing
dialogue about the transformative power of Metaverse Education

The building of international metaverse sites is inspired by
continuously learning and applying how basic technology skills
can create immersive needs for more knowledge and growth.
How the love of learning, ideas of business and intellectual
growth can sustain and amplify the love of humanity that is
growing in multiple sectors of life and addressing the
social, economic, eCommerce and digital skills sets needed
to be a pivotal element with technology.
The World Metaverse Council (WMC) was formed
to promote a world where humans enjoy freedom of
speech and freedom from fear and want12. It seeks
to bring metaverse creators, developers, thinkers etc
together1. The WMC was launched at the
World Future Verse Conference in Lake Bled, Slovenia
on October 1, 20222.
