As access to technology continues to grow across Central,
South America and Mexico it is becoming important to understand
that there are valid reasons for youth, teens and young adults going
into business why English is an important language to learn.
Business globally relies on English to communicate and share content.
The sharing of information that is consistently shared across business interests is very important to the understanding the direction and
mission of business growth and development. The ability of technology
to blend, collaborate, connect and encourage not just local business
investments and re-investment across Latin America, there are growing opportunities for Latin American business to expand globally into other communities.
Technology is the great equalizer (CEO William Jackson,
MetaverseWP) and inspiration to invest and re-invest into
local communities because of the potential to grow. As a
CEO and Educator internationally, it is a mission to be sure
that youth, teens and young adults across the region must
have basic or intermediate knowledge and abilities to be
creative, innovative, and imaginative with diverse technologies.

Content is key when information sharing can mean the difference
between success or challenges to grow and expand across
regions and communities. The future work force must be able to
manage information, create content, share information and build
their skills. If there is a lacking in those areas and communication
is a challenge the growth potential is delayed.
English is one of the most dominating languages of the world
which has its impact on every field of work. English plays such a
greater role in the world, it is impossible for people to ignore it
fully. As a teacher working across the region my responses to
the youth, teens and young adults across the region are clear.
Learn English and empower themselves to be Bi or Tri Lingual
to increase their employability and open opportunities to
expand in other markets.
Considerations about English
* English is the most commonly spoken language in the world,
when people travel, they are expected to be able to properly
translate the language and understand the relationship
between other languages and English.
* The estimated number of people who spoke only English
increased, growing by approximately one-fourth from 187.2
million in 1980 to 241 million in 2019 across the United States
by Census.gov
* English is understood and/or spoken by 1.6 billion people,
that over 1/4 of the world speaking the language. In contrast
there are only 360 million Americans. There’s always someone
to practice with, especially when you travel because people wish
to communicate about their lives and journeys to practice
their English.
* English is the language of international business.
World business headquarters predominantly in the many
financial hubs of the UK, Asia and USA, English is the default
language of trade. If you read the history of the English language
trade was done by English as Britain expanded globally. Therefore,
English is the dominant business language, and it has become
almost a necessity for people to speak English if they are to enter
a global workforce.
* English can be seen across the movie industry, these influences
movies around the world. No matter what the language there
are always translation into English. Hollywood is a powerhouse
of global entertainment, so it’s natural that English would become
the main language for movie-making.

really best enjoyed in the language
* It is debatable depending on who you speak to, but it’s generally
accepted that English isn’t the most taxing language to understand.
The vocabulary is simple to grasp, and it has developed throughout
different languages regarding its evolution. Many speakers of
languages can see where concepts in English originated from and
fast adapt to understand the basics of English.
* One of English’s best assets is its flexibility, often find many
different ways to explain the same thing thanks to its wide range
of vocabulary. English has easily over 750,000 words and
with the growth of technology adding new words and phrases
every year.
* English is so popular because of music, video games, movie
industry and even the use of poetry and spoken word. English
is hugely important as an international language and plays an
important part even in countries with strong musical and
entertainment industries. Central, South America and Mexico
over the past 10 years have seen the influences of
Western Europe, Japan, South Korea and even China. Therefore,
the idea being if you have the basics of English language
you can make yourself understood in nearly
every corner of the world.
* Influences across the internet have shown that most of the
content produced on the internet (60%) is in English. Knowing
English will allow you access to an incredible amount of
information which may not be otherwise available. Latin America
is seeing the expansion of businesses across their region,
and the need is for English speakers and those that can easily
translate as well.
* Empowered employment opportunities were English proficiency
is a valued skill throughout Latin America, and many careers involve
using digital technology. Being able to speak English can open up
more job prospects and increase competitiveness in the global job
market. Being Bi-lingual or even Tri-lingual places a person higher
in the hiring process, but education is key.
* The ability to have a large digital literacy vocabulary is helpful
in employment and moving into leadership opportunities. Improved
digital literacy as technology becomes increasingly integrated
into daily life, English skills are crucial for effectively using digital
tools, interactive platforms, and search networks. This digital
literacy abilities are essential for success in a world dominated
by technology.

English skills enable youth to engage more effectively in
the global digital marketplace, fostering innovation and economic
growth. The region will depend on and require an educated and
skilled digital workforce. In this time in history growing innovations
must be made by youth, teens and young adults to be valuable in the continued development of the region.
