ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:
As the “International Decade of Indigenous Languages” begins
this year, we would like to raise awareness of African indigenous
languages by hosting an educational conference,
“African Languages: Let’s Amplify the Continent’s Voices”
during the week of 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 (𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟯𝟬).
This event will gather language and cultural educators, translators,
interpreters, localization professionals, activists, researchers and
university professors who will share their knowledge, experience
and love for African languages with us during the conference.
It will also give us the opportunity to connect, share and learn
from one another, and promote the learning and use of African
languages on the continent and around the world.
We will be hosting live sessions on 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 to engage in
conversations about African languages that influence world events
today.
