School completion is one of the pressing and important
issues in Kenya and across the African continent. Illiteracy
rates are high among girls in the informal settlements because
of lack of education opportunities and resources.
Only 58% of girls enrolled in the first-year complete primary school
and this sets the path to the ceasing of educational growth.
This proportion falls as girls advance to higher levels of educational
schooling and the support necessary for girls of all ages.

Girls miss out on going to secondary/high school because they
can’t afford school fees. We want to change these for Sunflower
Global Girls in Kibera slums of Nairobi, Kenya. We strive to help them
gain higher in the next academic year in April 2022 so they can have
a better future and break the cycle of poverty for generations
to come.

Donations help us to achieve our goals and dreams to help as many
girls as possible escape poverty. When girls are educated communities
all benefit, girls and women are the foundation of educational support, encouragement, inspiration and vision.

four year scholarship today ($500 per academic year) you will give a
girl the opportunity and hope to stay in school and fulfil her potential
